01Niagara Wine Country

Château des Charmes

QRC's annual Niagara wine country excursion — and one of the highlights of the calendar. Members travel to Château des Charmes, one of the founding estates of the Niagara Peninsula, for a guided afternoon that goes far beyond a standard tasting. The winemakers walk the group through the vineyards themselves, explaining the terroir, the growing season, and the decisions behind each vintage. The tasting moves barrel to bottle — library wines, current releases, and a few things not available to the public. It's the kind of afternoon that turns wine from something you drink into something you understand.

02Niagara Wine Country

Two Sisters Vineyards

A visit to Two Sisters Vineyards in Niagara-on-the-Lake — one of the region's most celebrated estates. Known for beautifully textured, small-lot wines aged in barrel and recognised by Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, and The New York Times, Two Sisters is the kind of winery that earns its reputation quietly and completely. QRC members spent the afternoon on the estate: vineyard views, a proper guided tasting of current releases and library bottles, and the kind of unhurried pace that Niagara does better than anywhere.

03Private Dinner

The Secret Garden Inn

A private multi-course dinner hosted at the Secret Garden Inn in Niagara-on-the-Lake — one of the region's most celebrated heritage properties. The evening is paired throughout: each course matched to a wine chosen specifically for it, in a setting that feels a long way from campus. Small group, long table, no rush. The kind of dinner that earns its place in conversation long after it ends.

04Summer Social

Yorkville Rooftop

QRC's summer send-off — a rooftop social above Yorkville where the city becomes the backdrop. The whole circle gathers: cold champagne, golden hour, and the kind of evening that makes it hard to leave. No programme, no agenda. Just the club at its most social, with one of the best views in Toronto.

05Partner Experience

An Evening with Don Adriano Tequila

A private evening with Don Adriano Tequila, hosted alongside one of QRC's spirits partners. The lounge is reserved for the circle — low lighting, considered cocktails, and the kind of unhurried pace the city rarely allows. The evening covers the spirits on the menu in depth: provenance, production, and what actually makes the difference between a good bottle and a great one. Toronto at its most refined.

Yacht Trip · South of France
06Summer Voyage

Yacht Trip · South of France

Two nights. Three days. The South of France. QRC's most storied annual expedition — a private yacht charter through the Mediterranean with the club's closest members. The days are spent on the water between ports; the evenings are spent exactly as they should be: rosé, good food, and coastlines that don't easily leave you. It's the trip members reference for years afterward — and the clearest expression of what this club is actually about.

07Private Tasting

Scotch & Cigar Evening

A private scotch and cigar tasting hosted exclusively for QRC members. The evening moves through single malts, aged blends, and rare expressions — each one introduced with context: the distillery, the process, what's in the glass and why it matters. Alongside the spirits, members receive a proper introduction to cigars: selection, cut, light, and pairing. It's a body of knowledge that doesn't announce itself loudly, but travels well — and an evening that feels genuinely different from anything else on the QRC calendar.

08Partner Tasting

Frontenac Club Tasting

A private tasting hosted at the Frontenac Club — Kingston's most celebrated boutique venue, set inside a beautifully restored Bank of Montreal building on King Street. QRC joined the Mark Anthony Group for an evening of wine and prosecco in The Bank Gastrobar, where the original vault space and limestone walls made for a setting that felt entirely removed from campus life. The Mark Anthony portfolio was walked through properly: context, story, and what's in the glass. Glasses were kept full throughout. One of the most enjoyable evenings on the QRC calendar — the kind of event the venue was made for.

09Social

Dinner Social & Music

The club's signature end-of-term social — long tables, live music, and the full circle together. It's the evening that captures what QRC is at its most straightforward: good bottles, good company, and a room that never wants the night to end. No partners, no presentations. Just dinner, music, and the people who make the year worth having.
